For generations, the Blair family has owned the farmland on the hillsides where the original vineyard in Rockland Township lies. The high elevation, the cool temperatures and the eastern and southern aspects of the slopes in Eastern Pennsylvania make an ideal location for the cold climate grapes of northern Europe. The love of wine and the appeal of wine country enticed the Blair family to plant grapes on the higher and steeper hillsides of the family farm. Started in 1998, these 8 acres were host to Pinot Gris, Chardonnay & Pinot Noir with future plantings of Sauvignon Blanc in the Spring of 2012.
